Research interest :
My research interest lies on the isolation of thermostable enzymes and genetic manipulation of microbes for the enhancement of enzyme production and properties. This research also includes improvement of enzymes, designing novel enzymes by protein engineering and the determination of enzyme structures by X-ray crystallography. Current interest include immobilization of important enzymes useful in hydrocarbon bioremediation.
