As we continue to rapidly develop lands to cater for urbanization, agriculture, mining and industry, etc., one crucial aspect that has often been overlooked is the natural greeneries that are associated with them. Often, the green spaces have been left out due to their perceived low economic values. However, this is a misguided belief and a better analyses and wiser planning of green spaces is needed by looking at how they are tied back to the overall spatial system. A better greenery planning will contribute much for the betterment of ecosystems, social development, and the economy. |
