Research interest:
My current interest is to understand the structure-function and stabilization of extreme enzymes and proteins for industrial and biotechnological applications. Currently, my research focuses on the understanding of protein adaptation at low temperature of lipolytic enzymes from Antarctic microbes and also on organic solvent tolerant enzymes. Enzyme technology and structural biochemistry using biophysical tools, X-ray crystallography, and computational molecular modeling and simulation are utilized.
