Housing Research Centre

HISTORY

Housing Research Centre (HRC) was established as a Centre of Excellence in 1996 by the University Research Committe with the goal of providing affordable quality housing for the global market. During the time of establishment, the centre had focused its research in the field of low-cost materials for constructions, building systems, and precast concrete with the grant provisions of approximately RM 1.12 million from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment under the Sixth Malaysia Plan.
