About Us

The Malaysia Leptospirosis Research Network (MyLepto) is a network of researchers formed by three original members from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) who were recipients of a major grant scheme from the Ministry of Higher Education.

Established on 1 July 2015, the network is led by Prof Dr Zamberi Sekawi from UPM. The network at the moment, focuses on clinical, microbiological, public health and vector aspects. The main partner is the Ministry of Health Malaysia. It is also opened to other researchers who are involved in leptospirosis research.
