Mustafa Kamal Mohd Shariff was a founding Dean of the Faculty of Design and Architecture, Universiti Putra Malaysia and a former Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture. His research interests include understanding people behavior and the environment and especially on urban and natural resources visual preferences and visual resources management. He is very instrumental with GWB and plays a major role in the development of the group in its early stages. He has published many journal articles, books and book chapters and graduated many doctoral and master students. He still continues to provide advice and opinions to GWB in the area of environmental behavior and visual preferences.
