SMART Farming Technology Research Center

History

SFTRC was formerly known as SMART Farming Technology Laboratory (SFTL), one of the laboratories in the Institute of Advanced Technology (ITMA, UPM).

After restructuring of ITMA in 2011, SFTRC was formally established in January 2012 under the Faculty of Engineering, UPM.

Most of our researchers are from the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering UPM.

Outputs from R&D activities by staff and graduate students are disseminated through publications in journals, books, conference proceedings, patents and copyrights.
