Prof. Madya Ts. Dr. Novia Indriaty Admodisastro
Novia Admodisastro is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Software Engineering and Information System, Universiti Putra Malaysia. She received her Master's (Software Engineering) from University Malaya, Malaysia, and Ph.D (Computing) from Lancaster University, UK. Dr. Novia published a number of papers in journals, book chapters, and proceedings in the areas of software engineering, cloud engineering, and human-computer interaction, as well as cross-discipline studies in education and medical technologies. Her research papers have earned several awards including the best paper/presentation awards, national and international conferences i.e, SE2010, iCiCSE2018, AIlC2019, ICOSICA2020. She is actively involved in research competitions and innovation where she received numerous awards, including the latest Gold Awards in PECIPTA2019, PICTL2021, and IUCEL2022. She also put efforts into mentoring and coaching students in various competitions, the latest achievement is made by her final year students in Fusion2022 with Gold Award and Special Jury Award. She works with ministries and industries for training, consultation, and collaboration work. Novia is the founder of hive digital education, a startup that aims to provide sustainable digital education for diverse and inclusive populations.
