About

This program focuses on the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials and their building blocks which involves the use of nanosized materials. The study of these materials covers the fundamental aspects towards their potential application. Research under this program involves nanocomposite materials and nanostructured materials like nanometals, nanoalloys, nanoceramics, carbon nanotubes and layered double hydroxides.

Objectives

i)  To provide a platform to gather researchers in building a networking and research co-operation potential particularly in nanomaterials

ii) To strengthen the expertise in order to place ITMA in the global spectrum

iii) To expose the researchers to the latest research in the field of nanomaterials

iv) To instill passion in working with nanomaterials among students with the hope to create future research leaders
