Message From Group Leader
Welcome to Material Processing group of Material Processing and Technology Laboratory (MPTL), Institute of Advanced Technology (ITMA), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). The material processing is the focus of ITMA’s aim to promote inter-disciplinary materials research. It determines novel research areas to mentor the students in material science and engineering.
Material processing has been extensively developed to enhance performance and scale up of advanced material’s production. The group also conducts advanced research in Chemical Vapor Depositions (CVD), Electrodeposition, Super Critical Fluid, Electrospinning, Hydrothermal Techniques, Microwave, Milling, Graphene Processing and Palm Oil Processing.
I hope that this group will initiate the state of the art tradition of research and innovation in the material sciences. We continue to play a leading role in our discipline to strengthen ITMA, UPM.
