Peter White joined the Faculty of Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney in 2010 after completing a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) and a Ph.D. at Sydney. He is currently a senior lecturer and Sub Dean of Veterinary Student Placements. His Ph.D. involved investigating a birth defect in Australian beef cattle known as congenital chondrodystrophy of unknown origin. Since joining the faculty, Peter’s teaching and research interests have expanded to include physiology, pharmacology and welfare of production animals. His interest in dairy goats began 20 years ago when he ran a small herd of Sanaan and Toggenburg goats on his own property in NSW, Australia.
